Amazon Q easily and securely connects to over 40 commonly used business tools, such as wikis, intranets, Atlassian, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Slack. Employees can ask questions on company policies, product information, business results, code bases, and many other topics; Q provides summaries, insights, and trend analysis without their needing to collate disparate data themselves.
Respects roles and identities
Amazon Q understands and respects existing governance identities, roles, and permissions, personalizing interactions accordingly. If a user doesn’t have permission to access certain data without Amazon Q, they cannot access it using Amazon Q either.
Secure and private by design
None of your data is used for training or improving the models underlying the service, so it remains completely confidential.

Our work with Amazon Q
We have built a prototype app for an omnichannel contact centre experience, using integration with Q to provide agents with instant access to information relevant to customers’ queries. The assistant collates data from multiple sources to increase agent speed and efficiency, and can use roles to distinguish between information which can be directly sent to the customer and that which remains private to the agent but can direct their interactions.
